We built the AI platform we wanted ourselves.

We are a Dutch software company based in Nijmegen. We started building this because we kept running into the same problem: AI tools are powerful, but for a company that takes GDPR seriously, most of them are a liability waiting to happen.

The good tools are American. The data goes to American servers. The terms of service are written in American legal language. And the default settings are optimised for product improvement, not for your compliance department.

So we built Custos AI. A platform that lets you and your team use the models you want — Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, Mistral — through your own API keys, on EU servers, with hard cost controls, full admin oversight, and a DPA that actually covers what happens with your data.

We are not trying to replace the AI providers. We are the layer in between that makes their tools safe for business.
