Storage — what counts, what does not
Chat history— all your conversations, messages and AI responses are stored as text. A full year of intensive chatting is typically 50–200 MB. Chat history is never automatically deleted and does not count toward your storage quota.
Uploaded files— PDFs, Word documents, images and other files you upload to chat with. These count toward your plan's file storage quota. Files are automatically deleted after 30 days unless pinned by an admin.
Plans
| Plan | Monthly (excl. VAT) | Annual (excl. VAT) | Users | File storage | Chat history |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | €15 / user | €12 / user | 1 user | 10 GB | Unlimited |
| Team | €12 / user | €9.60 / user | 2 – 100 users | 5 GB / user (pooled) | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | 100+ users | 10 GB / user (baseline) | Unlimited |
Annual billing saves 20%. File storage is pooled across all users in your workspace.
File auto-cleanup
Uploaded files are automatically deleted after 30 days across all plans. Chat history is never affected by auto-cleanup.
Admins on any plan can pin files to prevent automatic deletion — pinned files remain permanently available but count toward your storage quota.
Enterprise customers can arrange custom retention policies (longer defaults, automated archival, legal hold) as part of their contract.
Frequently asked questions
Will my chat history ever be deleted automatically?
No. Chat history is never automatically deleted. All your conversations, messages and AI responses remain available for as long as your account is active. You can manually delete conversations at any time from within the chat interface.
What happens to uploaded files after 30 days?
Uploaded files (PDFs, Word documents, images) are automatically deleted after 30 days by default. This only affects the stored file — not the chat conversation that referenced it. Admins on any plan can pin important files to prevent automatic deletion. Enterprise customers can arrange custom retention periods via their contract.
My team uploads a lot of PDFs. Will we run out of storage?
Unlikely with our current quotas and auto-cleanup. A typical team on the Team plan uploads 2–5 MB PDFs for analysis. With 5 GB per user (pooled) and 30-day auto-cleanup, a 5-person team has 25 GB shared storage — roughly 800 MB of files per day before hitting limits. Most teams use a fraction of this.
Can I keep a document available permanently — like a company style guide or contract template?
Yes, on every plan. Admins can pin files in the Workspace Files section. Pinned files are never automatically deleted and remain available to all team members. They count toward your storage quota but are protected from cleanup.
Is file storage shared across all users or per person?
File storage is pooled across your entire workspace. On the Team plan, each user contributes 5 GB to a shared pool — a 10-person team has 50 GB combined. Chat history is unlimited and does not count toward the storage quota.
What happens if we hit our file storage limit?
New file uploads will be blocked until you free up space or upgrade your plan. Existing files and chat history are not affected. You will receive an email alert when you reach 80% of your storage quota so you have time to act.
